Time and Date of Dream 10/17/2024 4:30 AM

This is a short dream but the message was clear.

I had a dream that I saw the 2024 Presidential election results. Donald Trump won. I saw him giving a victory speech, and then I saw him and Melania dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus. 

The part about winning is clear as well as the victory speech, but the part about Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus was kind of confusing to me. After thinking about it, Santa and Mrs. Claus are normally associated with expectation, joy, hope, and faith. This does not mean that we're placing our faith in President Trump or his administration.

This does mean; however, that we must trust God concerning who he has chosen and pray for His (God's) agenda to be accomplished through President Trump. When you look at the story of King Saul (1 Samuel 9-14) we see that the people wanted a king, and God gave them what they wanted based on their idea of what a king should look like. When King Saul disobeyed God not once but twice and didn't repent either time, God chose another king, one after his own heart. God chose someone who didn't look the part but who would stand for right and be quick to repent and change. In our prayers, the joy, hope, and faith we place in God in these times help us to align with the heart of God and see things from his perspective. We must understand that God raises up the unlikeliest of characters to bring about change and sometimes it is through people we may not like. It is people like Donald Trump that God uses to restore hope, faith, joy and bring justice to the nation that we live in.

If this dream is in fact true, we can expect that God will do just that. Our nation has been granted a reprieve and grace yet again and we ought not take it for granted, and as the body of Christ we must view the nation and its leaders under the biblical microscope according to the word of God. These candidates may not be believers, but their policies should line up with your biblical views if you are a true follower of Christ.
